About “Not Just Surviving”

During my college experience, I have found a few people that do not enjoy college. They do not like going to school, and are only there because the degree will help them get a job in the future. I don’t believe that this attitude is conducive to a good college experience. I think that enduring, or just surviving, college (and life, for that matter) is going to be a negative experience overall.

I’d like to find some ways to not just “get by” in college, but to enjoy the experience. For some, this means finding classes they enjoy. For others, it means finding friends to make the academic parts more palatable. (This is actually a great strategy to get through those awful classes that are required for graduation, by the way.) How can you enjoy college?

This blog is a compilation of both tips for student life and personal stories. My tips usually come from my own experience, although I will also point to other articles and blogs that I find interesting or useful. Hopefully my stories will also be interesting or useful, although sometimes the only use may be just to give someone a good laugh. Laughing is good for you, after all.
